Week 4 Key Match Ups Re-Cap

A look at how our key match ups panned out last week...

• #6 CM Defense vs. Steve Cuipa - Solid effort by CM.  They slowed Guertin's option attack, forcing Cuipa to try and beat them in other ways.  He couldn't.  Anyone who still doubts this CM defense is in for a rude awakening.
• #2 Everett Defensive Backs vs. Barnstable Receivers - Advantage: Everett.  Everett was able to keep DJ Crook's receivers in check for the majority of the game (save Jordan Henderson), pacing them to a blowout. 
• Dracut Defensive Line vs. Billerica Offensive Line - No one really played defense in this one, but you'd have to give the nod to the Dracut defensive line here, solely because their team was able to prevail.
• St. Johns Prep vs. Brockton's Two-Headed Backfield - Great job by SJP.  They hit and were able to bottle up these two, almost pulling off the upset.  No stat is more telling than the number of touchdowns Offley and Brewster scored combined: zero.
