How They Fared

A breakdown of how our Top 10 fared last week.  New rankings tomorrow.
  1. Xaverian (4-0) Beat Somerville - Another shutout of a strong opponent.  This team looks to be hitting their stride.
  2. Everett (3-0) Beat Barnstable - Impressive win for the Crimson Tide.  They will most certainly be a force to be reckoned with come playoff time.
  3. Brockton (3-1) Beat St. Johns Prep - The Boxers were able to hang on against a surprisingly game SJP team.
  4. Gloucester (4-0) Beat Beverley - Another lopsided win for the Fishermen.  The only thing they need to fear at this point is complacency.
  5. BC High (2-2) Lost to Falmouth - Tough, tough loss for the Eagles, who need to find a way other than Preston Cooper to get it done on offense.
  6. Catholic Memorial (4-0) Beat Bishop Guertin (NH) - No problem for Coach Campea's boys here.  A well rounded effort against their talented visitors.
  7. St. Johns Shrewsbury (4-0) Beat Fitchburg - Don't expect this team to stumble any time soon.  As explosive a team as they come.
  8. Wachusetts Regional (4-0) Beat Milford - Their tight win last weekend against a surprisingly tough Milford bunch showed that this team can do more than just blow people out.
  9. Methuen (3-1) Beat Lowell - The defense flexed its muscles yet again, holding a potentially dangerous Lowell team to a goose egg.
  10. Chelmsford (4-0) Beat Lawrence - This team's offense continues to improve, which is bad news for the remaining team's on their schedule.
