Top 5's for Week 5

Time to get a little more in depth with our breakdowns.  Here are my picks for the top 5 offenses and defenses in the state.
Top Defenses
  1. Everett - They weren't on my list...until I saw them.  This unit is better than some Division 3 college schools in our area.
  2. Brockton - Fast, strong, and boat loads of swagger.  Very fun team to watch work.
  3. Xaverian - The most disciplined unit out of the bunch.
  4. Chelmsford - Very, very tenacious bunch.  Perhaps the best line backing core in the state.
  5. BC High - Love this team.  Double O gets the bulk of the props, but this whole bunch flies to the ball and sticks.
 Top Offenses
  1. St. Johns Shrewsbury - Richard Rodgers is dynamic, and Dan Light is slowly becoming a top-5 quarterback.
  2. Catholic Memorial - Deadly combo at wide receiver make this team one of the toughest to slow down.
  3. Barnstable - Can this team move the ball or what.  No matter who lines up across from them, they have the ability to put up a whole mess of points.
  4. Billerica - This team is much more than the Nick LeSpada show.  Matt Clifford deserves to be in the discussion for best underclassmen in the state.
  5. Holliston - Sean Mayo is a field general in every way, and this team always looks in sync.
