3rd and Long for Pats/Dolphins

My take on last nights game...
  • The Pats secondary still worries me.  Many of the Dolphins' offensive woes were a result of themselves, none more so than Patrick Chung's pick-six in the fourth. And while they seemed to get progressively better/more aggressive from the first drive on, teams with two solid options at wide receiver will continue to be the Patriots Achilles heel.
  • The running game is the key to how far the Pats can go this season.  If they continue to pick up 4 yards per carry, it will disallow teams to devote so much attention to Moss up top.  It will also lessen the chance of another debacle similar to last years loss to the Colts, which could have been avoided had we had a ground game with the ability to pick up first downs.
  • The offensive line seems to be improving every week, a good sign if you look at the next three games after the bye week: Baltimore, at San Diego, and Minnesota.  All three teams excel at harassing the quarterback, and usually win when they do so.
