Week 9 Top10

Not much movement this week as all but one of our teams handled business.
  1. Everett (7-0) - No real threats left on their schedule as they continue GBL play. Last Week: #1
  2. Brockton (7-1) - Another close win for the Boxers, who are beginning to look more and more human.  Last Week: #3
  3. Gloucester (8-0) - They survived an early Lynn English charge to push their record to 8-0 and set up a key match-up with Lynn Classical November 12.  Last Week: #4
  4. Xaverian (6-2) - The Hawks silenced the critics with an impressive win over previously unbeaten St. John's Shrewsbury. Last Week: #5
  5. St. John's Shrewsbury (7-1) - The loss to Xaverian stings, but a loss to Wachusett this weekend could cost them a playoff birth.  Last Week: #2
  6. Methuen (7-1) - The Rangers were again able to dominate their opponent up front on both sides of the ball. Last Week: #6
  7. Mansfield (7-1) - Statement win last week for the Hornets as they passed what should be their last real test before the playoffs.  Last Week: #7
  8. Weymouth (8-0) - The Cats can now begin counting down to their Thanksgiving Day showdown with Walpole.  Last Week: #8
  9. Longmeadow (7-1) - Lancers look to continue their winning ways this week when they take on a streaky Westfield team.  Last Week: #9
  10. Reading (8-0) - Little doubt left as to who is the king of the Middlesex Large after last weeks smacking of Burlington.  Last Week: #10
Dropping Out: None
Knocking on the Door: Walpole (8-0), Plymouth North (6-2)
