Week 10 Top 10: How They Fared

The biggest upset of the year headlines our Top 10 rundown.
  1. Everett (9-0)  Beat Malden - The Crimson Tide didn't just beat Malden, they demoralized them.  Another well deserved GBL Championship for Everett.
  2. Brockton (8-2) Lost to New Bedford - Easily the biggest upset of 2010.  New Bedford did what I predicted and shocked a Brockton team that has been reeling.
  3. Gloucester (10-0) Beat Lynn Classical - Gloucester did what Gloucester does: run the ball effectively and play lights out defense.
  4. Xaverian (8-2) Beat Catholic Memorial - Halftime adjustments proved clutch as the Hawks put themselves in great position to head back to the playoffs.
  5. St. John's Shrewsbury (9-1) Beat Algonquin Regional - Another explosive offensive performance for the Pioneers helped them wrap up a Super Bowl Birth.
  6. Methuen (9-1) Beat Lawrence - The Rangers won this one in style, scoring 42 unanswered points.
  7. Mansfield (9-1) Beat Canton - The Hornets are headed back to the postseason after blanking win-less Canton.
  8. Weymouth (10-0) Beat Brookline - Weymouth again pounded their opponents, showing no signs of letting up despite their opposition having a 1-9 record.
  9. Longmeadow (9-1) Beat Minnechaug Regional - Longmeadow seems headed for another Super Bowl birth after disposing of a tough Minnechaug bunch.
  10. Reading (10-0) Beat Lexington - Reading was dominant, blowing out the only team left with a shot at ending their win streak.
