Week 3 Put-Up or Shut Up Recap

#8 Billerica vs. Methuen - Big weekend for the Rangers.  They proved they are every bit as talented and tough as anyone else.  Solid offensive line.  Game breakers at the skills position.  Disciplined defense.  All the makings of a playoff team. 

Lynn English vs. Beverly - No questions left unanswered for the Bulldogs here.  They scored early and often, dominating on both sides of the ball.  The week one letdown against Lawrence is looking more and more like a fluke. 

#1 Brockton vs. #2 Xaverian - There is nothing negative to say about the way either of these teams played this weekend.  The Boxers defense was incredible.  They hit, harassed, and for the most part handled the Hawks.  But in the end, it was Xaverian who had that little extra.  A December showdown may yield a different result.

Central Catholic vs. Dracut - Maybe someone shared my post questioning whether or not the standards for this years Dracut team were set a bit too high.  Either way, they answered in a big way, taking it to a very talented Central Catholic team.

Barnstable vs. Sandwich - Very strong showing on the defensive side of the ball matched what has been going on in Hyannis for the better part of two years.  This team is right back on track.
