Game of the Week

Another weekend of big games, with match ups like #1 Brockton visiting #2 Xaverian, #3 Everett hosting St. John's Prep, and ISL schools Lawrence Academy and Milton Academy squaring off.  But I've put off seeing Nick LeSpada in person long enough.  And with them set to welcome a feisty Methuen team, this week seems like the perfect time.  Some notes...

• I'm excited to see Billerica sophomore Matt Clifford.  He racked up 135 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns last week to pace all receivers.  You may be inclined to dismiss his stats due to the fact he is playing with one of the better players in the country, but keep in mind he is a sophomore. 
• Billerica comes in with a 2-0 record after 2 fairly one sided wins.  Methuen stumbled in week 1, but got back on track nicely with a W last week.
• Senior Raudy Minaya will be the key in Methuen potentially pulling off this upset.
