A new #1, but for the most part, more of the same this week.
- Everett (5-0) - Manny Asprilla was a man possessed in the fourth quarter of the Tide's win over #2 Xaverian
- Xaverian (5-1) - Great bid this weekend by the Hawks. They'll pick themselves up and get back on track in no time.
- Brockton (5-1) - Another solid win for Brockton. They keep finding ways to beat really good teams.
- St. Johns Shrewsbury (6-0) - They jump up from number five after putting together four quarters of great football against a feisty St. Johns Prep team. A win against #2 Xaverian could pit them right under the Tide.
- Gloucester (6-0) - The Fisherman have won two straight tight games and look ready to start conference play.
- Methuen (5-1) - Their defense pitched a shutout, and their offense keeps on rolling.
- Mansfield (5-1) - Last week they shut out King Phillip's rushing attack. This week they held Attleboro to one score. And I heard their running back is decent, too.
- Falmouth (5-0) - A much deserved week off for this undefeated squad.
- Weymouth (6-0) - The Colarusso's are nasty, but quarterback Mitch Temple is the key to me. Very good team.
- Longmeadow (5-1) - Great Wing-T attack compliments a tough defense.
Dropping Out: None
Knocking on the Door: Reading (6-0), Chelmsford (5-1)
